Rainbow Sharks enjoy aquariums with caves, driftwood, rocks, and plenty of hiding places. They can become territorial as they mature, so they’re best kept with similarly sized, active fish that occupy different areas of the aquarium. It’s generally recommended to keep only one Rainbow Shark per tank unless the aquarium is very large.

Feed a quality sinking pellet or algae wafer along with frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. They also enjoy vegetable-based foods and algae as part of a balanced diet.

We ship fish on Monday and Tuesday so they arrive quickly and safely. Orders usually arrive Wednesday or Thursday.

All fish are packed carefully with insulation and heat or cold packs when needed.
