Panda Garra (Garra flavatra)

The Panda Garra is one of the most entertaining freshwater fish you can add to your aquarium. With its unique black-and-white pattern and playful personality, this active bottom-dweller is always on the move. You’ll often find them grazing on algae, climbing over rocks, or even sticking themselves to the glass with their specialized sucker mouth.

They’re a great addition to peaceful community aquariums and do especially well in tanks with plenty of rocks, driftwood, and good water flow. While they may occasionally chase each other, they’re generally peaceful and full of personality.

Panda Garra enjoy aquariums with smooth rocks, driftwood, and plenty of hiding places. They appreciate moderate to strong water flow and clean, well-oxygenated water. While they’ll graze on algae and biofilm throughout the day, they should also be fed algae wafers, sinking pellets, Repashy foods, and occasional frozen foods like bloodworms or brine shrimp.

They get along well with most peaceful community fish and can even be kept in small groups in larger aquariums.

Shipping Info:

We ship fish on Monday and Tuesday so they arrive quickly and safely. Orders usually arrive Wednesday or Thursday.

All fish are packed carefully with insulation and heat or cold packs when needed.
