MARBLE QUEEN RADICAN SWORD
MARBLE QUEEN RADICAN SWORD
Marble Queen Radican Sword (Echinodorus cordifolius ‘Marble Queen’) is a stunning and hardy aquarium plant known for its large, heart-shaped leaves marbled with green and creamy white patterns. This beautiful variegation makes it a standout centerpiece in freshwater tanks and an excellent choice for beginners and experienced aquascapers alike.
Description:
The Marble Queen Radican Sword grows tall and broad, often reaching 8–20 inches in height, making it perfect for the background or midground of medium to large aquariums. Its bold, decorative leaves add a lush, natural look while providing excellent cover for fish and shrimp.
Care Tips:
This sword plant thrives in moderate light, though stronger lighting will enhance its variegation. It prefers nutrient-rich substrate since most of its nutrients are absorbed through the roots. For best results, use root tabs or aquarium plant fertilizer regularly. CO₂ supplementation is optional but can promote faster growth and deeper coloration.
Keep the temperature between 72–82°F and pH around 6.5–7.5. Trim any yellow or damaged leaves to keep the plant healthy. Given enough space and good conditions, it may send out runners that produce new baby plants, which can be gently separated and replanted.
