Clown Killifish

Clown Killifish are tiny fish with huge personality. Their colorful striped bodies, bright blue eyes, and unique upturned mouths make them one of the most interesting nano fish you can add to a planted aquarium. They spend most of their time near the surface, making them a great contrast to fish that occupy the middle and bottom of the tank.

These peaceful fish do best in heavily planted aquariums where they have plenty of floating plants and hiding places. They’re an excellent choice for nano community tanks and are often kept alongside shrimp and other small, peaceful fish.

Clown Killifish thrive in well-planted aquariums with gentle water flow and a tight-fitting lid, as they can jump. Floating plants help them feel secure and encourage natural behavior. Keep them with other small, peaceful fish and avoid large or aggressive tank mates.

Feed high-quality micro pellets along with frozen or live foods like baby brine shrimp, daphnia, microworms, or other small foods. A varied diet helps bring out their best colors and keeps them healthy.

Shipping Info:

We ship fish on Monday and Tuesday so they arrive quickly and safely. Orders usually arrive Wednesday or Thursday.

All fish are packed carefully with insulation and heat or cold packs when needed.

Live arrival is guaranteed as long as someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
