3 JADE MYSTERY SNAILS

Jade Mystery Snails are a beautiful freshwater snail variety with creamy white bodies and rich, jade-green shells that add a touch of color and elegance to any aquarium. They are part of the Pomacea bridgesii species, known for their peaceful nature and helpful cleaning habits. These snails actively graze on algae, leftover food, and decaying plant matter, helping to keep the tank clean without harming live plants.

They typically grow up to about 2 inches and do best in tanks of 5 gallons or larger. Jade Mystery Snails thrive in stable, well-filtered freshwater with temperatures between 72–82°F and a pH around 7.2–8.0. They are social and do well with community fish, shrimp, and other peaceful tankmates but should not be kept with aggressive or snail-eating species.

To maintain strong, healthy shells, make sure the water contains adequate calcium, and supplement their diet with algae wafers, blanched vegetables (like zucchini or spinach), or sinking pellets when natural algae are limited. Mystery snails can lay eggs above the waterline, so ensure there’s a small gap between the water’s surface and the tank lid.
