3 IVORY MYSTERY SNAILS

Ivory Mystery Snails are a striking freshwater snail variety known for their creamy white shells and pale bodies that stand out beautifully against dark substrates or lush plants. Like other Pomacea bridgesii, they are peaceful scavengers that eat algae, leftover food, and decaying plant matter, helping to keep your aquarium clean and balanced.

They grow to about 2 inches and thrive in freshwater tanks of at least 5 gallons. Ideal water parameters include a temperature range of 72–82°F and a pH between 7.2–8.0. Ivory Mystery Snails are completely safe for plants and get along well with shrimp, tetras, guppies, Cory catfish, and other non-aggressive tankmates.

To keep their shells strong and bright, maintain good water quality and calcium levels, and supplement their diet with algae wafers, blanched vegetables like spinach or zucchini, and sinking pellets when algae are scarce. They may lay egg clutches above the waterline, so it’s best to leave a small gap between the water surface and the lid. These snails are both functional cleaners and elegant additions to any community aquarium.
